ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Prime contractor on the power distribution system upgrade, LED lighting retrofit, emergency egress additions, and new fire alarm system for the 75-year-old church. Included demolition of most existing branch circuits throughout. The church was occupied during the construction project. The high lift equipment had to be erected and re-erected many different times for the owner.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The Ark Encounter consisted of approximately 125,000 SF, 507 feet long, 5-story world class project. Project was super fast-tracked. The original electrical engineer retired. The base electrical design was not finished and needed additional engineering. JES Engineering provided engineering for fire alarm systems, life safety lighting, parking lot and roadways, interior lighting, power and customer manufactured special lighting. Project included 2,500A , 480/277V service, emergency generator, several UPS systems, LED lighting, power distribution, mechanical equipment connections, fire pump and elevators. The project had a firm schedule end date, which was successfully completed.
Project also included the design of a 3-story restaurant building with extensive kitchen and seating.
Sturm Electric also provided design-build for the Creation Museum in Petersburg, KY.

Sturm Electric and JES Engineering have spent many years at the Lindner Family Tennis Center, in Mason, OH. Sturm Electric worked with Vector Construction and the owner direct on many construction and/or engineering projects. Sturm Electric and JES Engineering worked in the areas of site utilities, demolitions, players hospitality areas, power distribution, telecommunications, audio, video, stadium lighting, lighting control, kitchens, dining, players locker rooms, press and television boxes, standby emergency power, spy cam, etc.
